The Lido Enea was born in the 1945 thanks to the creativeness
and the entrepreneurial ability of Vincent Race, that he realized the
first bathing establishment of the whole Flegrea area and among
the first one in Campania.
Impassioned by the history of our places he decided to give the
name of
the mythical Enea to this beach, which according to the
legenda, he
came in the Flegrei's fields to question the Sibilla, and
burried the
trumpeter Miseno, on the promontory that from him took
the name of Head
Miseno. He dared tried to challenge the Gods
and was
throwed in the sea by God Tritone.
With the same strength which Enea fought his war, Vincent
Race started to work toward his investment trying to become the
best in
that sector. In few years he was able to succeed in offering
numerous services and to have a selected clientele, so much to
win in
1952 the prize as the best beach of the Flegrea area.
During these 60 years, the management of the establishment has
passed
over to his sons and now to his nieces, offering towards
clients
years of professionalism in this sector , with the objective
to satisfy
all of your demands.
